A lecture/slide presentation that will last approximately 1 hour, with opportunities for discussion and questions at the conclusion.

Virginia Crane focuses on the multicultural community of Menominee, Metis and Anglo-Americans from the East and immigrants from Europe who settled along the Upper Fox River.

Scott Cross Life of Chief Oshkosh
Scott Cross teaches us about Chief Oshkosh, from his birth in 1795 to his death in 1858. The lecture will focus on the chief's involvement in major events, including treaty settlements, military activities and the case of the lost Partridge child. His conflicting views and tragic death also will be examined.
