Oshkosh
Sesquicentennial 2003 Video: Foundations to Remember |
|
|
Oshkosh's official sesquicentennial video: Foundations to Remember is a 90-minute look at the history of the city, similar to a Ken Burns-style documentary film. It weaves together still and moving historic images, such as photographs of Oshkosh from the Civil War period and great logging era, as well as interviews with some of Oshkosh's leading historians. It includes many scenes and events over the last 150 years. It draws heavily on archival material from the Oshkosh Public Museum. A Ron and Jim
Metz presentation created in cooperation with Oshkosh Community Access
Television and the Oshkosh Public Museum. This video is available for $19.95 at the Oshkosh Public Museum Store. |
